Destination of the Month - March

Did you know that Rwanda is now one ot the safest destinations in Africa?

Kigali is a developed city, it is modern and clean. Plastic bags are actually banned in Rwanda!

To get a glimpse into the country’s history, the genocide museum in Kigali is a must. It is somber yet inspirational and educational.

The landscape is beautiful, Rwanda is also known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills”.

A highlight of Rwanda is a visit to Volcanoes National Park to see and interact with the gorillas. Only 80 people are permitted per day and chances are extremely high that you will have an interaction with these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. To learn more about gorilla conservation in Rwanda visit the Karisoke Research Center founded by Dian Fossey.

You can do treks to spot the rare Dolden Monkeys in the Volcanoes National Park area.

There are also treks to visit a couple of different volcanoes. One is overnight, the other can be done in a day.

The best time to visit is June to mid-September.
